Upcoming Elections

Make sure you're registered in time to vote, at least 30 days before the next election. 2018 is going to be a big year for Tennessee, with elections coming up for a new Governor and new US Senate and House representatives.

July 3

Last day to register to vote for the August 2 election.

July 13-28

Early voting period for August 2 election. Early voting locations are different than your official location the day of the election. Find your early voting location here and don't forget to bring an ID!

July 26th

Deadline for receiving an application for a by-mail ballot. Find instructions for requesting a by-mail ballot here.

August 2

Election Day. Federal and state primary election and county general election. Don't forget to bring an ID!

August 8 - October 17

Beginning and end of window to request an absentee or by-mail ballot for the November 6 Election. Find absentee ballot request & submission instructions here.

*Different rules apply for military personnel and Tennesseans living overseas. Find more info here and thank you for your service!

October 9
